(translation)
LA PANNE (the power failure): The television interrupted, we reached for the summits in cars. Small groups of teenagers spat and smoked and laughed. When all the power went out for good, we quickly exhausted what was in reserve. There was nothing left after a few hours of chaos. The television interrupted, there was no one to tell us what to do. People died in their apartment, they couldn’t find it in themselves to trust anybody... The city in the city’s shadow, one couldn’t find their way. Some people fell into the water, some people smashed store-front windows.
Such a special album I struggle to think of what to say about it. At times I'm afraid or put off even listening to it and sometimes its the most comforting thing in the world. I got this from a vinyl code and I only listened to that physical copy of it the morning after the night my dog died. The first time I ever lost someone that meant the world to me and it was the first time I didn't cry to it. This album is beautiful and if youre reading this, you are loved memon_dayz
