MANCHES COURTES
Y'a Marc et un train qui passe à côte
des mouettes dans le noir.
L'herbe est sèche,
l'herbe est pointue
l'herbe est longue à traverser.
Évadée
extatique
je m'épuise
prête à tout
Demain
grand flan mou
à la porte
ou à l'école de réforme.
On ne fait pas de mal à a personne.
On ne dormira pas cette nuit.
On respire et on est en forme
de l'air nocturne plein nos poumons.
On traverse l'autoroute.
On s'étend sur la voie,
on se tord de rire.
On enlève nos vêtements.
Je téléphone chez moi
pour le dire à mes parents.
Ils ne comprennent rien.
Ils ne trouvent pas ça drôle du tout.

MANCHES COURTES (short sleeves): There’s Marc. There’s a train which passes by us. Seagulls in the dark. The grass is dry, the grass is pointy, the grass is long to walk through. Escaped. Ecstatic. I exhaust myself, ready for anything. Tomorrow, a tall and soft flan, kicked out or at reform school. We are not hurting anyone. We are not going to sleep tonight. We breathe in and feel healthy. Nocturnal air filling our lungs. We cross the highway. We lie right down in the lane. Folded over in laughter. We take our clothes off. I phone home to tell my parents, they don’t get it. They don’t find it funny at all.

Such a special album I struggle to think of what to say about it. At times I'm afraid or put off even listening to it and sometimes its the most comforting thing in the world. I got this from a vinyl code and I only listened to that physical copy of it the morning after the night my dog died. The first time I ever lost someone that meant the world to me and it was the first time I didn't cry to it. This album is beautiful and if youre reading this, you are loved memon_dayz
